Wie zijn wij?

Hallo! Wij zijn Jochen & Dieter!

We wonen samen in het hartje van Brugge, een stad die ons nauw aan het hart ligt én we zijn hier ook getrouwd!

In 2018 leerden we elkaar kennen op het vliegtuig. Toen werkten we nog als steward bij TUIfly Belgium. Door onze job in de luchtvaart hebben we het geluk gehad heel wat van de wereld te mogen zien en heel veel inspiratie op te doen. Bovendien zijn we ook allebei heel gepassioneerd door reizen en maken we dus zelf ook graag eens een inspirerende trip. En wat we dan doen als we in het buitenland zijn? Op zoek gaan naar leuke ontbijt- en lunchspots! Zo hebben we dan ook açai bowls leren kennen, wat ondertussen zelf ons dagelijks ontbijtje is.

Onze favoriete plekjes in het buitenland zijn: Pura Vida (Miami), Cafe Bastille (Miami), Bliss Cafe (Phuket), Bonbon Café (Lanzarote), Almalibre Açai House (Valencia), Palmetto Superfoods (San Francisco), Açai Republic (Los Angeles), Oakberry ... en nog zo veel meer. Daarnaast zijn we tijdens onze trips ook verliefd geworden op de Boho-stijl (Bohemian) in combinatie met Wabi Sabi. Een stijl die de nadruk legt op eenvoud, organische vormen, natuurlijke materialen en rust.

Enkele adresjes die ons volledig geïnspireerd hebben zijn: Nomad Hotel (Jávea), Bikini Island & Mountain Hotel (Mallorca), Lindos Aqua Terra (Rhodos), Casa Cook (Kos), OKU Hotel (Ibiza), Jufenalm Resort (Oostenrijk) enzovoort...

Dit is wat wij ook naar voor willen brengen in Boho Brunch. Het gevoel dat je heerlijk kan ontbijten en lunchen in een rustgevend bohemian kader. Rust... Dat is wat je bij ons kan vinden. Iedereen is welkom! Want mensen met open armen ontvangen, dat is het liefste wat wij doen. Tot snel!

Hello! We’re Jochen & Dieter!

We live together in the heart of Bruges — a city that’s very close to our hearts, and it’s also where we got married!

We first met in 2018 on an airplane. At the time, we were both working as flight attendants for TUIfly Belgium. Thanks to our job in aviation, we’ve been lucky enough to see a lot of the world and gather tons of inspiration along the way. We’re both deeply passionate about traveling, so we love going on inspiring trips ourselves.

And what do we love doing when we’re abroad? Searching for the best breakfast and lunch spots! That’s actually how we discovered açai bowls, which have now become our go-to breakfast every day.

Some of our favorite spots abroad include: Pura Vida (Miami), Cafe Bastille (Miami), Bliss Cafe (Phuket), Bonbon Café (Lanzarote), Almalibre Açai House (Valencia), Palmetto Superfoods (San Francisco), Açai Republic (Los Angeles), Oakberry ... and so many more.

During our travels, we also fell in love with the Boho style (Bohemian) combined with Wabi Sabi — a design philosophy that emphasizes simplicity, organic shapes, natural materials, and tranquility.

This is exactly what we want to bring to Boho Brunch — that feeling of enjoying a delicious breakfast or lunch in a relaxing, bohemian setting. Peace... That’s what you’ll find with us.
